- Local cache of unlocked content
You can delete all of this data at any time from Settings → Reset Local Data within the App.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Operate the App — load saved builds, deliver in-app purchases, send local notifications.

- Comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing its data practices:

| Apple App Tracking Transparency | Apple Inc. | iOS tracking permission | https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ |
4. Advertising and Tracking
4.1 Ad personalization
We use Google AdMob to show ads. Ads may be personalized based on your inferred interests if you provide consent (in the EU/UK/Switzerland) or do not opt out of tracking (on iOS).
4.2 European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland
For users in these regions, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain valid consent under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive before showing personalized ads or storing non-essential cookies/identifiers. You can change your consent at any time via Settings → Ad Privacy Settings within the App.
4.3 iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will request your permission via the standard ATT prompt before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking purposes. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Brick Forge.
If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual only).
4.4 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, set your iOS ATT preference to "Ask App Not to Track" or use Settings → Ad Privacy Settings in the App and decline personalized ads.
5. Data Retention
- Local data (builds, photos, settings) — retained on your device until you delete the App or use Reset Local Data.
- Analytics & crash data — retained according to Firebase retention settings, typically up to 14 months for event data.
- Advertising data — retained according to Google AdMob's retention policies.
- Purchase records — retained by Apple/Google indefinitely (not by us).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — restrict our processing of your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain processing (e.g., advertising).
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
6.1 In-app data deletion
You can delete all locally-stored data at any time using Settings → Reset Local Data. This action removes builds, photos, settings, and the local unlock cache. Real purchases can still be restored from the store using Restore Purchases.
6.2 Server-side data deletion
For analytics, crash reports, and advertising data held by Google services, please contact us at [email protected] with your request. We will forward the request to the relevant processor and delete data within 30 days where technically feasible.
You may also exercise your rights directly with Google:
- Firebase data deletion: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- AdMob personalization: https://adssettings.google.com
7. Children's Privacy
Brick Forge is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
The App's third-party processors (Google, Apple) operate globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. These providers maintain appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework, etc.) for international transfers.
9. Security
We rely on industry-standard security practices of our third-party providers (TLS in transit, encryption at rest). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
